Okay, I'm a horrible swimmer.  This will take some practice, definitely!  If someone were to watch, they'd wonder if I were drowning.  But, on one was around.  This was good because I didn't drown; however, I suppose if I were drowning, I'd probably like company.  Anyhow, I'm okay with kicking, and I'm okay with doing the arms, but apparently doing them together is not my strong suite.  so I did mostly arms, but did practice both at the same time too.

And when I was done, I was dizzy.  Must. Swim. More. Often.

I am right with you! I absolutely HATE water. HATE IT! I do not get in it for anything. It is kind of the family joke, I didn't even get in with my kids when they were little. My husband did.

Good for you for swimming. Maybe you can give e the courage to try it. But only if I can wear a swim skirt!

I never get in the water either. It's the only thing that had been holding me back from doing a tri. But I decided I better face my fears. I use to hate running.

Okay, your comment abour swim skirts made me remember I have been meaning to ask you a question about running skirts. You have one right? And you love it? I'm thinking about getting one. I'd like to get one that I can run, bike and swim in. I saw some on runningskirt.com (I think) that has bike shorts under it. Is that how yours is? What is your opinion?

I lied, it was runningskirts.com That "s" is important.

YEP, those are the ones I love. I get the athletic skirt, with the biker shorts. Not sure about swimming in them, but I have run and biked in them. LOVE THEM! I have well over 10. ;o)

I had Gabe give me some pointers once about swimming. He gave me a paddle board and told me to kick. I started to kick and went backwards. He said, "Uh, I've never seen that before." lol!
