So, it was hot, but it was nice to get out. I still have my friend's garmin (I need to return that), so I used it. I ran at a 9:06 pace. Pretty nice considering the heat.
I'm debating. I found a marathon I could do in October, but I'd have to train through the summer, and it's pretty brutal here. My other thought is to find some shorter races in the fall and this summer work on speed and endurance. I'm thinking if I go that route, I can set a time goal. Any thoughts on the matter? (I want my running buddies opinions).
Also, my husband says there is a tri. that he knows about this fall that is a small one and thinks I could do it. That's an interesting idea. I'm not a good swimmer, but he says the length isn't really anthing (he has done it with the scouts a few times).
