Brandon was a sweetheart last night and rubbed my calves.  He must not have been as hard as I thought he would be because I feel asleep :o).  This morning they felt much better.  They are still a little swore, but nothing like yesterday.  Thank you everyone for all your advice.  I'll have to do some of the exercizes that everyone reccomended yesterday to help prevent further pain.

This morning I hit the pavement and went 7.25 miles.  The first 1/2 mile was very awkward.  I don't know why, but I felt like my stride was not right.  After that 1/2 mile it felt great.  Brandon says I'm getting faster.  I'm still slower than most of the other people on this blog, but I ran my 7.25 miles at a 9:30 min/mile pace.  He is so sweet for telling me that I'm getting faster.  It made me feel like I was accomplishing something.

Okay, quick story:

While we were visiting my dad, Melanie was playing with this blocks.  My dad decided to take a nap on the living room floor.  He was sawing some serious logs and scared Melanie.  Melanie decided to investigate the noise, and crawled up to my dad.  She looked at him, looked at Brandon, looked around, and then looked back to her Grandpa.  It looked like she was going to claw his face or something.  Then all the sudden she pulls out a block that apparently she had carried over with her, and shoves it in Grandpa's mouth.  Smart girl, she stopped the scary noise instantly. LOL

What a cute little girl!

Nice run, Camille!

BTW, of course it is okay if Bethany joins us! The more the merrier. By the way, speedy, I am a little concerned about your pace. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with you! Go easy on me this first time, 'K? I haven't run longer than 5 in a looooooong time.

You have nothing to worry about, I promise! :o) Any ideas of where you want to run?

I got your email. Sounds great! The only thing is that I will probably not be able to get there until 6:30. That gives me a little time to get lost and find my way again. Is it a big place? Will it be hard to find you? Call me! I tried to call you but got no answer. Otherwise I will just search for you tomorrow at 6:30. Looking forward to it!

I love your little pumpkin!!

I'll have to try that block trick for snoring next time Mike is home...!

It'll take more than a block. Maybe a brick will work. Or a backrub. A backrub would definitely make me stop snoring. And brownies.

Melanie's super cute.

Camille, I noticed your mileage is getting into the marathon training base mileage! Sweet! I still havnt decided on the half or full yet for R&R Arizona. Misty is running the half. If I run the full I will just run it for fun and try to help someone get a BQ time if they want. I finally got my pictures to work now so I can act like a normal computer savy person.

Lybi - thank you for running w/ me today! That was fun!

Rachel & Mike - Hilarious! I'd stop snoring for a back massage or brownies too... good choice! Thanks for the compliments regarding my little Melanie. :o) I think she is super cute too.

Walter - the idea of a marathon still scares me, but I want to do another half!
