I didn't get much sleep last night.  Someone, who shall remain name less but is roughly 27" tall and weighs approximently 17 pounds, woke up at 11:53pm and cried for 20 before I decided to go get her.  (she usually goes back to sleep).  I rocked her back to being calm (which was nice because I got to snuggle with her, and those momments are far in between since she has been able to move) and then put her back into bed.  Then she decided to cry for an additional hour before she ended up in mom and dad's bed.  Yep... I was a sucker.  So when the alarm clock went off this morning, I reset it for 5:30am and caught an additional hour of sleep.  :o).  I figure I'll take Melanie for a run this afternoon.

The whole point of that story was to make sure someone kicked my rear if I didn't go for a run this afternoon!

*** Well, I'm happy to report that Melanie and I did get out this afternoon and did 6 miles.  I did all the work though.  She just sat there and looked cute! :o)

It is 3:10 and afternoon. I have arrived to kick you in the rear!

BUT no stress. Sometimes life gets in the way and it is OKAY!!! I have not been ALLOWED to sleep through the night in 15 years, and it never gets any easier!!!

Kelli - I'm happy to report that I made it with 24 mins to spare. (I finished running at 4:36pm). :o). Thank you for the kick. I needed it!

GOOD FOR YOU! You are way better than me, later NEVER happens!!!

From walter on Mon, Oct 13, 2008 at 23:06:24

Your better than me today camille. I was too freakin busy tonight. I was going to run but got slammed with stuff to do so I suck.

From Lybi on Mon, Oct 13, 2008 at 23:58:37

Great job! You did it, even in the face of adversity! I've noticed my kids don't seem to sleep as well when the weather changes. Man, it was COLD this morning.

From kungfublonde on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 00:07:04

My "later" happened, but I only had about 25 minutes. See that's why I have to get faster, so I can run farther when I don't have long to work out!

From montelepsy on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 05:41:06

Looking cute is hard work. I spend too much time brushing my hair and plucking to have someone devalue my efforts.

From Camille on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 10:29:02

Lybi - I did think yesterday was super cold, but I didn't want to mention it and have someone from Utah tell me what cold really is. LOL

Mike - hilarious. I agree, looking cute is hard work. I haven't quite figured it out yet myself. But somehow, Melanie makes it look so easy.

Rachel - 25 minutes is still better than nothing, right? That's about how long I'm going to have tonight. :o(

Kelli - part of the reason my later happened is knowing that you all were checking up on me. This blog is great for that.

Walter - I understand getting slammed with stuff to do. There's always the next day. I'm sure you'll make it up. :o)

From walter on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 19:48:31

Yeah everyone seems to be trying to get work in now. That is a good thing. Im slammed with work once again. Finally!

From camille on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 19:58:57

My work seems to be like a roller coaster. (and not a kiddie ride). We are up and down, back and forth, and some times crazy, up-side-down. I just hold on and try not to scream!
