I ran an awesome 10 miles this morning with my friends Bethany and Lybi (http://lybi.fastrunningblog.com/).  It was awesome because it didn't feel like 10 miles.  It was extremely comfortable and seemed to fly by.  It was definitely a lot of fun.  Now I understand why everyone runs in groups.  :o)  I can't wait until we do it again.  Those girls are great!!!  And even better... we are running in the Ragnar together, so our van is going to rock!

I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!  I know I am :o)

Yea! That was such a great run. Thank you! I'm looking forward to next week. :) And yes, our van will definitely rock.

I saw Will today. He told me he is excited for Ragnar. He says he's been concentrating on speed since he doesn't have a lot of time to do endurance. He said he did 6 miles in 37 minutes.

Are y'all gonna run barefoot??

Great 10 miler---wow! What is the weather like down there right now?

From Camille on Sat, Oct 18, 2008 at 23:57:22

Burt - I'm glad Will is excited for the Ragnar. I can't wait to meet him. He does realize that he is much faster than the rest of us? right?

Kelli - I'm not running barefoot (except to maybe chasing after my daughter as she does something dangerous while at home). My poor feet are ripped up like crazy already. I can only imagine how much more damage I would do to them barefoot outside. :o(

The weather was good today, but warm. We had a high of 96. I miss the cooler weather we had earlier this week, but I have faith it will come back.

I just know Lybi does the barefoot thing, so I was checking!

THAT IS HOT!!!! Yuck.

From Burt on Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 00:28:31

Are you talking about the weather or Lybi's feet?

From Kelli on Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 00:32:54

THE WEATHER!!! I am sure her feet are hot, too, though! They would have to be if she runs with no shoes on asphalt!

From Camille on Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 11:29:39

Burt - you goof! :o)

Kelli - it was hot. Did it heat up for you guys this weekend?

From montelepsy on Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 14:05:32

Ten miles like it was nothing. That's great!

From Kelli on Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 15:21:30

It was PERFECT here. In fact, it still is. I love the 60-70 degree weather!!
