9 miles @ an average 9:33 min/mil pace.  Not super fast like some of you, but not too shabby.  (Especially considering that more than half of it was uphill... not steep, but enough that you feel it!).

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Instead of kicking tail, today I got my tail kicked in what I will call my combination hill/ wind resistance training.  It totally wore me out!!!  No kidding.  I did 3 big hills (or rather, the same big hill 3 times) and then ran home.  :o)  When I got home, Melanie was out front trying out her new sand toys (her Easter Basket).  She was in heaven.  I think that made my day!

Lame... I know.  No miles today...  But at least I got my fat butt out the door for the 2 miles, right?  Lame

ETA this picture of Melanie helping mommy make brownies.  that's right... not only did I not really run...  I made brownies.

We went running as a family today!  It was fun, except, it seems that Brandon's knee hasn't healed, and he is in serious pain now.  I feel selffish for asking him to run with me.  Originally he was going to bike (pulling Melanie) and I was going to run, but his bike tires were flat.  He is such a good husband.

Today I did 4 hills and averaged a 9:14 min/mil.  I'm pretty happy with that.  I'm sad with my mileage for the week, but it's too late to worry about that. And I spent time with Melanie.

Here are some pictures of the yummy things Melanie and I made this weekend.  My neighbors have been loving me. :o)
